He was born in 1980 in San José de Mayo, he graduated from the National School of Fine Arts and is currently studying a Master's in Painting at the University of the Basque Country, Bilbao. He attended the Contemporary Art Foundation and the Carlos Capelán workshop. In 2008 he obtained the 3rd MEC Acquisition Prize, 53rd National Exhibition of Visual Arts "Hugo Nantes" and received the "artist residence program by d" scholarship; Zurich. In 2010 he received the Zonamerica “Young Painting Acquisition Award” and in 2012 he obtained the MEC Acquisition First Prize of the 55th Wifredo Díaz Valdéz National Prize for Visual Arts, and the First Prize “Prix Paul Cezánne”. In 2018 he did a residency at the Port Tonic Art Center Saint Tropez, and in 2012 a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris. He has made several individual and collective exhibitions.
