He is an artist who links his artistic and professional practice using research, cataloging, and preservation strategies from the field of art as inputs for the conceptual and objectual modeling of his work. It uses mathematical models as a tool for analysis and verification of emerging issues that make it possible to study the different fields of human production. His practice seeks to demonstrate the incidence of the social, political, and cultural context in the construction and validation of art productions, he investigates the study of cultural objects and their context, generating conservation, institutional, technical, sensory, and iconographic cartographies. His work is mainly related to the creation and use of digital tools to study and recreate the field of art. In order to develop said production and research development in the field of software, the OPPAMEV application has the ability to model and classify the field of art, generating mappings of expressive media and the areas of the brain stimulated by them. His art production transits from the traditional means of production to the means of digital production, generating the production of software, installations, traditional or digital sculpture, animation, video, engraving, painting. He has exhibited his research and production both in the field of art and academics, generating lectures and specialized publications in institutions in Latin America and Europe.

He works as a curator and restorer of traditional and contemporary art in public institutions in his country.
