He began his apprenticeship in the plastic arts in 1975 in Hilda López's workshop. Artistic institutions were outlawed by the military dictatorship, the workshops were his place of training.

His artistic career begins in 1987.

Research in different techniques goes through various media and supports, making soft sculptures, objects, interventions, installations, paintings.

He exhibits regularly in both individual and collective exhibitions. She has been invited and selected to participate in awards and salons, obtaining awards and mentions. She is awarded the National Prize for Visual Arts from the Ministry of Education and Culture, at the 59th Margaret Whyte Prize, year 2020.

His work is in private collections.

He lives and works in Montevideo.
