In 1998 he received the grand prize at the Seventh Jumping Biennial. In 1999 represents our country in the 2nd. Mercosur Biennial in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In 2000 he obtained the Paul Cezanne Prize through which he traveled to France to carry out the project "The Body of Bread".

In 2005 he is invited to the exhibition "Rundlederwelten" at the Martin Gropius Museum in Berlin, Germany with the work "The Miracle Game". In 2012, he participates with the same work in the "Arte y Pasión" exhibition at the Marco Museum, Monterrey, Mexico.
In 2005 and for two years he assumed the position of Coordinator of Visual Arts of the Directorate of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay.
In 2015 he participates again in the 10th. Mercosur Biennial in Porto Alegre.
In 2017 he obtained the 2nd place in the 48th Montevideo Award for Visual Arts. At the end of the same year, he received the Eduardo Víctor Haedo Training Scholarship from the Fund for the Stimulus to Training and Artistic Creation -FEFCA- of the National Directorate of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay.
Through competition, he erected two works in the urban space of Montevideo: the "Monument to the Student and Teacher Martyrs" in the IAVA Liceo and the work entitled "ROTO" in the World Trade Center plaza. His works are in public and private collections in Uruguay.
Since 2017 he has been a university professor at the Catholic University of Uruguay. For more than twenty years he has been giving art classes in his workshop in Montevideo, as well as in Salto.
He currently resides in Montevideo.
