Exhibits nationally and internationally. His shows include: On Location, Allegra Ravizza gallery in Milan, Italy; Tuning, Leo Fortuna Gallery in New York, Noticias Breves, Recoleta Cultural Center, in Buenos Aires; and Sin Aviso, Cultural Center of Spain, in Montevideo.
He has participated in group exhibitions such as: The Disappeared, a traveling exhibition organized by the North Dakota Museum; Heard not Seen, and September 11, 1973, both in ORCHARD, New York; Between the Lines at La Casa Encendida, Madrid; Policies of difference, in Fundacao do Patrimonio Historico e Artistico de Pernambuco, Brazil and MALBA, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He represented Uruguay at the II and IX Havana Biennials, Cuba, and at the III Lima Biennial, Peru.
She teaches at the State University of New York and is the art editor of Point Of Contact, the Journal of Verbal and Visual Arts. He collaborates in Brecha de Uruguay; the Art Nexus magazine, from Colombia; and Atlantic International of Spain.
Ana Tiscornia has worked in different languages and techniques: painting, sculpture, installations, photography and engraving. He usually uses traditional materials combined with everyday objects, such as furniture and tools. His work frequently touches on issues such as urban spatiality, postmodern subjectivity in cities, and identity.
She has been based in New York since 1991.
