Born in 1944 in Montevideo where he lives and works. He is a Primary Education Teacher, studying at the National School of Fine Arts. He served as Aesthetic Education Advisor for the Primary Education Council. Professor of Artistic Techniques and Drawing in Teacher Training. He conducted workshops at the Mariscal, Santa & Cole studios in Palo Alto, Barcelona. Since 1969 he has exhibited his work in individual and group shows.

His proposals today are strongly linked to textile resources as expressive means. It has been selected in all the halls of CAAT (Argentine Center of Textile Art), in the last six years. Since 2006, he has chaired the CETU (Uruguayan Center for Textile Art), participating in all exhibitions and meetings.

He handles a strongly iconic language close to Kitsch, creating with religious images, reliquaries and objects of devotion and ironizes the consumer society.

Since 1990 Art Director of the English School of Montevideo.

He was selected by the WTA (World Textile Art Organization) for the IV and V biennials of Buenos Aires and Mexico respectively.

His work appears in the National Museum of Visual Arts in Montevideo and private collections.
